SMART TRAFFIC SERVICES, LOCATED IN BALTIMORE, MD RECENTLY ACQUIRED TWO TRAFFIC PRO BEDS TO ADD TO IT’S FLEET FOR THE UPCOMING SUMMER SEASON. – JUNE 2021

Previously Halcon Traffic Control, the Downtown Baltimore start up is excited to have the new beds added to their fleet to help streamline their traffic control operations going into what’s anticipated to be a busy season for Temporary Traffic Control.

Appropriately named, Smart Traffic Services originally acquired interest in the Traffic Pro Bed when they realized they could use the truck body to upgrade the safety components of some of their previously retired traffic trucks and make them newly compliant with MDOT regulation. Since MDOT banned the use of regular pickup truck bodies in traffic control, Smart Traffic had these trucks just sitting in their yard un usable. But now with a Traffic Pro Bed upfit on each, these trucks were adapted to be OSHA compliant traffic trucks ready to take on traffic control operations daily.

Delivered to the company June 15, 2021, the company opted for two of the 200 Series Standard Traffic Pro Bed Models. Smart Traffic Services was also impressed by the inherent safety the truck body’s configuration provides workers, as well as the durability and dynamic make that allows it to be easily up-fitted from one truck to another truck.
